GET ENGAGED

The YEA seeks to strengthen youth engagement within tobacco control by providing networking, resources and technical assistance to our 500+ member network by highlighting best practices and encouraging the sharing of ideas between coordinators in the field. We encourage you to participate in one of our upcoming webinars, connect with tobacco prevention groups in your state, and attend Coordinator camp to further networking with your peers.

Webinars

We offer webinars focused on providing our members with the latest research on important tobacco control issues, best practices for youth engagement and real success stories from local, state, tribal and territorial tobacco control programs who have successfully engaged youth to tackle a tobacco issue in their community. Do you have new research, best or promising strategies around youth engagement, and/or innovative success stores that our membership could benefit from? Let us know if you’re interested in speaking at an upcoming webinar.

Coordinator Camp

Coordinator Camp is a one-day conference held in conjunction with the National Conference on Tobacco or Health designed specifically for coordinators who work with youth tobacco control programs around the country. Coordinator Camp allows coordinators to collaborate as participants rather than as facilitators or chaperones. The conference is designed to bring people together to learn about best practices for youth engagement in tobacco control, share ideas and strategize about how to mobilize youth to end the tobacco and e-cigarette epidemic.

The next National Conference on Tobacco or Health will take place in 2025. Join the network to receive the latest YEA news.
